EDUCATION SENT TO THE THEATRE FOR ANOTHER EDUCATIONAL OPERATION

          Three years ago,the educational surgeons of the New Patriotic Party worked on the patient ''education'' and converted her age from three years to four.Only for the well trained surgeons in the New Democratic Party to work on the same patient and change her life span from four years back to three years.
           Recently,the surgeons of the New Patriotic Party after several years of  educational research ,calculated data and prudent planning have propose a sweet, mouth watery proposal on the all ready deteriorating health of the patient ''education'' The code of the operation according to the surgeons is ''free  education''.
            The Chief surgeon in charge of operations is the one time member of parliament and a former Minister  Hon. Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo .When asked the rational behind the operation  he said that''all Ghanians must have  access to education and that if the state has money to pay for judgement debt She should be able to finance the operation''according to the surgeon the cancan to be destroyed when the operation is done is the virus''school fess''but i know for sure that  the virus''school fess''in Keta Senior High Technical School is not the same as the virus in Achimota College and Adisadel collage.Since  it will be difficult to destroy it via the very tool used in Keta Senior Sigh school. Schools charge her fess based on the kind of quality she wants to deliver,so for the surgeons to be proposing a standard amount for all schools raises  serious questions about the operation
        Operations are run on a patient to correct her defect not to aggravate the malady.A successful operation by the N.P.P government on the patient  will over burden her facilities,since everybody can now go for tuition.
Just like  how the time came for us to have a free health care scheme through the National Health Insurance Program.we must wait for the right time to run these educational operation.Otherwise we will end up with another STX fiasco and an invincible one time pay premium.I leave you with these question, is it  possible for the operation to be held on the patient ''education''or we will, be having the operation and  light will go out and   permanently lay the patient to rest, your guess is as good as theirs (i mean the surgeon)

 Most people might be questioning the timing of this post, but i chose to write it only after the burial of our late President who has definitely  left a mark for himself.This is my  humbly way  of sympathizing with   his family and the nation as a whole.
    The man who till the 24th of June 2012 was the President,was  more than a role  model or a political leader .He was  a man that truly understood the essence of life and lived every day as his last fighting for the good of mankind.Many was the  the things people had done against him but non of this things moved him.Many were the people who took delight in pressuring this man like Ex Prez Rawlings ,the minority in parliament and several groups of people   and individual ,these same people have now turn 360 to praise this man and tell us how  wonderful he was ,what hypocrisy.They all want as to believe that their vilification were all in good intentions towards the man.Even those who are considered as the MOLES of these man speak not too much praise of the man like the way his critics do what a joke.
  I am of the view that our late  President was not killed of throat cancer as we have being made to believe,but rather you ,i and every single individual in this country was an architect of the dead of this man.We killed him and buried him in the castle long ago when he assumed power.What we did at ''ASOMDWEE PARK'' was only a   ceremonial something,something .
     We placed him under too much pressure than any President and never gave him the free range to operate.But  it is interesting to know that within 3 years and 6 month he had achieved  more than  the Presidents that have spent 19 years and 8 years in power.Indeed he is God sent,no wonder must people use to tease him that he is better of a religious leader than a political leader.But after his dead we realize that he jealously exhibited both which is humanly impossible.His death just like how the September 11 disaster had been  in-planted in the  minds of American, popularly called  9/11 so will his death on 24 June be 24/7 in our life.
   The late President left me one message and i share it with you that  the youth that '' DON'T  LET POLITICIANS DESTROY  THE FUTURE THEY ARE NOT PART OF''. Our president is dead and so we must endeavor to protect his  legacy

The Student Representative Council of Keta Senior High Technical School Present ''S.R.C FREAK''

  On  the 23rd of June 2012 at exactly 9:00AM  the auditorium of ketascho will be set ablaze when the S.R.C host the hottest freak ever.
  The main motive of the freak is to raise funds for the S.R.C  week celebration proper that will be held next term or next two terms.This program will be a blast that will be in planted in the memories of ketascans  for ever.The ticket is going for a cool 1 woyome(gh1).There will be  performance by Opanka(ketasco),sandtop mics,Bright future and  the will also be a lecture by La ken Technologies.Never forget that the dress code is strictly OLD SKULL...........if you have the ticket and you are not in old skull forget  it.
  One shocking truth about the freak is that till date the S.R.C  planning committee can not pinpoint who should be the MC for that program.A lot of names are flying here and there and the S.R.C Planning committee is still divided on this matter.
 The question still remains that who will MC  the hottest freak ever to be held on sandtop college ,we cant  wait.
S.R.C freak is freaking bad shhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AS THE DOORS OPEN

AS THE DOOR OPENS TO WELCOME US FROM OUR HOME

 As student in most senior high schools gets geared up to go to school.I just decided to drop this small piece  to wish then well,pleading with them to maintain the best of attitude this term and to uphold to the letter their school's code of conduct.Student must also endure to sit behind their books twenty four -seven bearing in mind that they have to do it now or never.
 To my colleague ketascans, this term from all indications reaching us  tells us that we must get ready for a showdown this term, both from administration and prefects.I was talking  to the assitant school prefect of the school Master Syndey Quartey and he assured me that they prefect will up their game this term.
 As a student journalist on campus i can only say with authority that current affairs programs this term will be a blast not to talk of the WRITERS AND DEBATERS CLUB  of which i am the Vice PRESIDENT.

S.R.C PRESIDENT(RIGHT) AND S.R.C ORGANIZER LEFT after last S.R.C meeting of the term

   HE who thinks he stands should be careful least he falls.
The decision by most head of schools that they will have an entirely form three student administration is being exposed to the wind.,whiles other are making changes to correct the mistakes they have created.The Ghana Education Service has officially release  a white paper saying that both form threes and twos will be writing their WASSCE paper the same year  and same time.This goes to weaken the decision by certain head of schools to go for a completely form three  student administration.When this information was released  POPE JOHNS SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL quickly changed and went for a form two and form three student prefects.The headmaster of St.Pauls  College (spaco)also made it clear that immediately next term ,elections will be held to welcome form two prefect.This means the school will have two school prefect and assistants respectively and two prefect for every post.
  We now turn our attention  to one of the most democratic school in Volta region Keta Senior High School were all their prefects are form threes except the Student Representative Council were two dangerous form twos have manipulated the system to be S.R.C executives whiles prefect and form threes were around they are ALPHA NATHANIEL  and AYAWEVUU JOSHUA .It is not clear yet as to if the administration will decide to go for a form two and three prefect considering how volatile the school is and who the electoral commissioners are i think a little interference from the headmasters as always will do the form twos good.
  But it is on record that in all schools were form threes are prefect the have  being face-off between the prefect and the form twos some leading to fights and quarrels.
   When ALPHA NATHANIEL (vice president of writers and debaters club and S.R.C  executive) was asked his views he said''we the form twos are not interested in prefectorialship in ketascho that has no advantage but if the school decides to give it to us so be it .We only want our freedom from the form threes who have been undermining us since the day they took power.Form three prefects and their colleagues who are tough on us must take caution because their days of reckoning is at hand''

PREFECTORIALSHIP IN SENIOR HIGH SCHOOLS IN GHANA STINKS

       Precfectorial and leadership in general in most Senior High Schools in Ghana have reached a cross road, with most heads of school not knowing what to do. Other heads of school have also taken a wrong legislation to solve this jigsaw puzzlec created by the ATTA  MILLS administration. he UNCLE  ATTTA amininistration which is the current governmement decided to fulfil a manifesto promise by changing the Ghanaian Educational System from  four  years to three years. These have created a situation where currrent form two student willl have to complete and subsequently write the same final paper with the  form three.
        Due to the fact that they will all be leaving the school in the same year, heads of schools as stated earlier do not know how to share the prefect slot. Since do not know if they should share the prefects among the form 2s and 3s which we call "pairing" or let the form 3s due to their seniority and their long stay in the school take all the prefectoriaship to themselves or open nomination for an election to be conducted and the winner running the student administration irrespective of his form.
        But other schools like Legon Presbyterian High School and Achimota Senior High School according to unconfirmed reports are planning to allocate prefects to only form 3 whilst St. Pauls Senior High School, Anloga Senior High, Tema Methodist Senior High have also decided to share the prefects among the form 2s and 3s with the form 3s occupying the senior post and the form 2s serving as the deputies. It is quite interesting to know that Volta Region's Premier Senior High School, Ketasco, is actually at a stand still as to what to do with the prefect slot. Investigations conducted indicate that the Electoral Commissioner of the school and his Deputy, Mr. Xatser-Zor (Electoral Commissioner ) and Mr. Nukunu Fogah ( Deputy Electoral Commissioner / Aspiring NDC Parliamentary Candidate for Ketu South) have all submitted their reports to the school advising the school to go all out for a form 3 student administration. The headmaster of the school who has the final say has officially not come out to say anything despite the fact that elections are slated for the 16th of Febrary, which is in three weeks time.

           The fact still remains that no matter what decision a school takes, it will either favour one side and deprive the other side of its privileges which might spell doom for the school. Prefectoriaship definitely stinks in senior high schools.
